Version 2.2 – Implemented analytics of the use of VR headsets at the reception

The VR platform for the hospitality industry, which provides an attractive welcome to every hotel guest, but also increases the possibility of sales through crosssell and upsell, now has introduced metrics and analytics of device usage. In addition to standard system improvements, through the new version 2.2. VR Hotel has an implemented system for measuring various VR headset parameters that are available to the hotel for analysis.

Version VR Hotel 2.2. has the following new measurement functions:

Number of users. Each headset has a certain number of uses per day, i.e. putting it on the head, and enjoying the VR experience. VR Hotelo provides accurate and reliable data that gives a high-quality picture of the success and quality of the experience.

Number of views of each video. Video content in 2D or 360 form at the reception is content that can now be measured on a daily basis. On average, users were offered 4-8 videos, version 2.2. by measuring the analytics, they will be able to give an answer to the hotel about which videos took the most attention of the user.

Some other very important metrics that we can measure with this version are:

  • Date and time of using the VR Hotelo system
  • Video view length
  • Headset location (in situations where the hotel has a VR Hotelo system in several locations, it is possible to measure the analytics of each location separately)

Based on the obtained data, it is possible to create usage reports, make sales decisions, prepare new 360 or 2D video content, develop the hotel’s business strategy as well as the success of the reception and cross-sell and upsell.
